Basic Training

This is a time for students to make new acquaintances whether upper class men or students their age; and learn the basic skills for the program. Basic Training normally takes place within the first 2 weeks of school, during and after school, learned the basic movements and drill. |
Team Try-outs

Exhibition of all JROTC teams to potential recruits on the initial day; throughout the week, recruits are divided into teams to learn the basics of each team and are allowed to experience other teams before committing to a single team. |
Homecoming Game

The cadets volunteered and participated in the Morse Homecoming game. They walked down the track field carrying the 50 states. Also presenting Jrotc by presenting the states during half time. While varsity unarmed and armed performing as a honor guard to present the homecoming court. |

Morse AJROTC participated in the 39th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade at Knox Middle School. The Unarmed Fancy Drill Team, Armed Fancy Drill Team, Color Guard, and Drum Corps were able to perform for community member and students. |

Led by CSM Johnson, our dedicated Cadets went to emerald Park and conducted a park clean up to help out within the San Diego Community as part of their Service Learning program. After hours of hard work, they were then treated with a nice bbq out in the park. |

Golden Bear

It has been 5 years since Morse AJROTC was able to attend Golden Bear Nationals. The program sent Color Guard, Armed, and Unarmed to compete against 60+ other JROTC programs all over the nation; going as far as Guam.
